Nobody is going to jump to the conclusion that you are hurting him!And if it is a bruise and they ask about it, then you say exactly what you’ve just said here, the truth! That you don’t know how he’s managed that and can only assume it’s from rolling, and that you thought it might have been a birthmark! When my eldest was about 18mo, he fell and smacked his head on the corner of a wooden toy ark, it literally impaled his forehead and I had to take him to have it glued. The anxiety I had every time someone asked me what had happened to him, and that the true story, that he fell onto Noah’s Ark, just sounded so absurd that they wouldn’t believe me 😂

Thanks I know I'm being silly I just have awful anxiety 🙃 so my mind goes to worse case possible! Iv been dreading the night sleep as I know what my brain does 🙈 but feel bit better now! Oh yeah I get what you mean hahs it's a good story for when he's older to tell 🤣

I had the same anxiety when a bruise came up on my little girls arm and I was due a visit from the HV, she didn’t even say anything about it. No need to worry about it mama 😌 it’s always nerve taking when you know they are coming, but you’re doing amazing! My little girl had a birth mark on her neck too

So my little girl has a mark on the side of her face, it's like a reallyyy light cafe au lait but it has been around for months. I brought her to the doctor's and not once did they assume it was a bruise or question me because if it was and god forbid you did do something on purpose (which of course you didn't!), why would you call the doctor/HV? Don't panic and I hope you get sorted! 🤍

My kids both have a bleeding disorder and are always covered in bruises as they bruise very easily… my 6month old had a bruise on his head that I couldn’t figure out where from and another on his back but I know that one was from falling backwards on the floor… no health care professional has ever accused me of anything. Don’t worry ♥️♥️
