Getting pregnant before first period following D&C

I'm wondering about this as well. My doctor said we could try 2 weeks after (I didn't have a d&c but miscarried last week).

Same I lost our at 7 weeks at the end of June 23rd and finished July 1st ,we have been having quite a bit of it lately and I'm due a period soon but it's hasn't arrived yet I'm a day late and negative 😔♥️or I could be a full week away timing is very off ,we are just waiting for the period to restart a again ♥️we allowed everything to pass naturally and took about 10 days we didn't need assistance for the rest to hopefully I should ovulate sooner or get my period sooner

I did between my 2nd and 3rd miscarriage but I did miscarry again! So it’s totally possible!

@Holly same my libido has been very high since my miscarriage, no idea why, so we’ve been at it a lot more frequently but I’m worried that maybe I should be careful. I really don’t wanna to go through all of this again if it’s higher risk 😭

I understand, my libido was the same. I think it is common but what do you mean higher risk?

@Ema like Im wondering if I accidentally got pregnant before I get my period if it’s a higher risk for another miscarriage

I understand your fear, but there is no proof that would be the case as many woman on here have gone on to have beautiful babies straight after a miscarriage.

I had a miscarriage early June and am now 6+2 pregnant again, got pregnant before getting my period back so yes it can happen!

Also I haven’t read or heard anywhere that this would mean higher risk, you’re just more fertile right after a miscarriage. But loads of people have healthy pregnancies right after and you are actually statistically less likely to miscarriage your next pregnancy after a miscarriage:)

@Clara congratulations, when did you test positive? Also do you know when you ovulated? I have a miscarriage naturally at the end of June and not period yet, not sure if I have ovulated yet or not

Thank you! My miscarriage was natural too, I had a negative pregnancy test 1 week after I stopped bleeding and ovulated exactly 2 weeks after I stopped bleeding! I use natural cycles which predicts ovulation based on basal body temperature and ovulation test strips

I miscarried the first week in June and am now pregnant again. I didn’t wait for a cycle after misscarriage. Waiting for an early scan as I am anxious about miscarrying again 😴xx
