All doctors offices are weird! Everyone’s times for it is different! I got an email lol
Does NIPT always test the sex? I’ve been waiting on my results for like 2 weeks
@Monét so from what I saw is it tested the 3 major chromosomal abnormalities, the sex, and what percentage of red blood cells I was carrying for them to be able to test the sex. (I think that’s how that goes that’s how I understand it) it’s anywhere from 4-15% I guess and I was at 14.8% so that’s really good I guess!

Ahhh I have my genetic testing back but not this one. I’m gonna call my doctor tomorrow lol
If you got everything else then yeah I’d call just in case!
@Narissa yea they said I have to wait for 13,18,21 and the sex but I think it’s a California law

Congratulations @Narissa 🥳 are you guys planning to do gender reveal for family?
I had originally not requested for my NIPT test at 13 weeks to test the gender. When I changed my mind, it turns out that the people at the lab knew anyways as part of their standard testing. You will likely be able to have your doctor call them to release this information.
I ruined my own reveal lol …. I didn’t know the gender was going to be present 🤦🏽♀️
