What’s happening?

Hi! I test daily for ovulation, I have super irregular/long cycles and haven’t managed to seemingly catch my peak days since I conceived my son in 2022- born Jan 2023. I took a test this morning and thought I was starting to peak as the line was getting stronger! I’ve just taken another one literally less than 6 hours later and it looks like it’s already disappearing. I know the one this morning wasn’t my peak, but why does this keep happening?! Whenever it’s strong I test twice+ daily but it always seems to drop again a few hours later. I can never catch any ovulation! Any advice?

I’d start by testing twice daily regardless, what times do you normally take them & do you use fmu??

What is the range of how long your cycles can be? As you tend to ovulate around 14 days before your period so if your cycles are super long you will ovulate later.

Easy at home strips are best too

@Sophie FMU in the morning and then usually when I’m home from work around 5:30pm each day. I’d try the middle of the day too when I start getting a stronger line

@Tanya so hard to say, I had no periods for over a year after having my son and then my first cycle was 80 something days and then the next was 50 then another was 72…just all over the place.

Take your first test after 10am , they say it’s best between that xx

@Sophie also I always test twice daily regardless, just when it’s stronger I test in the middle of the day x

Oh okay I get you 🥰 I’d try some easy @ home strips ! I tried Amazon ones before hand and I wouldn’t ever get a peak , now with these I do xx

I use the same tests I did 2 at the same time one showed a very strong test line and the 2nd test showed low 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m definitely going to try the easy at home ones. It’s annoying because these tests gave me my peak a couple years ago to get pregnant and now they’re just not doing anything🤦🏻‍♀️
