Brooklyn college student teaching.
Anyone on here happen to go to Brooklyn college as an education major?
So my gpa unfortunately is a 2.9 I need a 3.0 in order to do student teaching and I have to apply the semester before I plan to student teach (I planned to do student teaching this upcoming spring which would mean I would have to apply to student teaching in the fall which is in a few weeks). Do I need the 3.0 to even apply? Or once this semester is complete do they calculate that gpa since these are my final education classes? The website is not very clear. I don’t want to sound stupid asking the department.

Sorry, I don't remember if I had a 3.0 or not at the time of my student teaching. You should reach out to your advisor though, they may be able to work with you.
From what I remember u would need a 3.0 to even apply

Based on personal experience with these types of qualifications, as long as the semester processes at 3.0 you are good, but you wouldn’t know without asking them directly
