Weaning

Hey ladies! Starting to look how to start the process of food for baby. Thinking doing a mix of puree and BL. I'm so confused where to start or how much to give?! Anyone got any advice or anything they found useful as I am clueless. Thanks!

Hey I follow the Annabel Karmel weaning book, if you just Google this it should be one of the top to come up, it’s really good :). If you’re starting pre 6 months, they advise to start with just fruit and veg purées, this is what I’ve been doing :).

Hey, with my first baby I followed solid starts on IG. I also signed up to free Ella’s kitchen weaning pack. I started with first tastes - a whole veg and purée at the same time - eg I’d give her a whole broccoli to get used to chewing and bringing food to mouth (she wasn’t actually eating any) and then a few spoons of purée to get used to the taste. Started with veg then moved onto fruits. Started with just one mealtime. Then I moved onto doing this alongside giving baby porridge or weetabix mixed with formula. Plan on doing the same with my second baby as my first is a really good eater. 🤞
