Due date

Hello, when can medical teams confirm your due date? Is it during a scan and if so which? Or is it as arbitrary as googling a calculator and putting in last of last period etc?

You can do them online so it gives you a rough idea, we hace just been for our 12 week scan & they worked it out then, it was slightly different to the only one but only by a week ☺️x

It’s determined by the scans cause conception or implantation date is hard to determine. They’ll go by the last period date and scans will either confirm or change due date. It’s an estimate at the end of the day, it’s not 100% accurate

Your dating scan can tell you but it could change depending on how baby is
