No shoes…!?

Picked up my bonus son from his mom today…it wasn’t until she put him in my car that I realized he’s not wearing shoes or socks! Always sends him in 2T clothes(he’s 4.5 years old and wears size 6(xs BOYS)). I just don’t understand!

I’ve had similar happen to my stepdaughter 💔

We don't switch off with shoes, we keep shoes in the car if we need to go anywhere. We also do not switch clothes, and we send our kiddo back to Mom with the same clothes (washed obv) that she came in.

i understand not wanting to send the kids in certain clothes / shoes bc it’s not guaranteed you’ll get them back. but sending him without shoes at all or clothes that don’t fit?? so frustrating. it does kinda suck when my ss goes back to his moms in nice stuff i bought him. but at the end the day.. its for him. i just hope he gets use out of everything while he’s at his moms 🥲

Yea same.. bonus baby 3 in a 3t bottoms and 4t top size 8.5W shoes and bio mom threw a bitch fit bc the 2T outfits and size 7C shoes didn’t come back with the brand new wardrobe we supplied 🤦🏽‍♀️ some people just be focused on the wrong things

I go through the same thing with my stepson.. hcbm gets $1,200 a month in child support yet he gets sent to us with no socks or shoes, clothes with holes in them, stained underwear and socks, and size 4T clothes and underwear when he wears size 7. It’s so sad and disgusting.

Do you guys always send her stuff back with the child? My SD mom never sent our stuff back and would bring her in stuff that wasn’t great. So we were losing stuff so we started sending her back in whatever her mom sent her in. I’d wash it first

My youngest ss comes over wearing 4T clothes, and he's 7. I will either throw them away or wash and donate them. She also let's all her boys (7, 8, 10) dress themselves. So they're going to school with clothes too small, not appropriate for the weather, holes/stains, clothes that don't match, pajamas, etc. I would be embarrassed to have them go out in public looking like that. But she just doesn't care. When we have them on a school day, I make sure all their clothes match and are appropriate. And I get rid of the holes/stains.
