LO only wants to be held and walked

My two month old only wants me to hold him and walk him around. I can’t sit and hold him, I have to constantly be moving or he will fuss. He also isn’t sleeping as good as he used to. He hardly naps during the day and at night his sleep has regressed a little. He isn’t running a fever or act like he’s sick but he’s gotta be uncomfortable right? Or is this normal??

Our girl has done the same thing.. do you have a baby carrier? We eventually figured out she wanted the stimulation of new sights, so we were able to lay her down as long as we actively played with her also. But carrying her in a carrier is a help.

Mine is 10 weeks and he only naps after nursing on the nursing pillow. If I move he’s fully away 🥴 so it’s tough getting anything done during the day , but from 6pm-8pm we have a night time routine and he sleeps 8-10hrs he’s had a few off days I think the off days is growth spurts

Maybe you could try sitting on a yoga ball and bouncing? My baby likes this. I place the ball in front of the tv and sit with her and bounce to calm her. In the beginning it did make my back sore from all the bouncing but now I’m use to it 😅

You’re not alone 🫶🏽My LO Is 10 weeks old and is going through the same exact thing. I usually have her in her carrier and walk around the house. Walk out to our balcony for a min, stare outside or I’ll have her in her bouncer facing me while I’m doing the dishes. She becomes distracted. Music actually helps her calm down a little lol purple rain by prince is her fav rn😂🩷 I started at 7pm a snack than bath than a bottle and she’s off to sleep with some music 🩷 the bath has been working for us

Baby carriers are my best friend!! Definitely try yoga ball or rocking chair if you have one. Mine tends to rock while I lean back as far as I can. Or if you have a baby swing my guy has been loving his swing. Visual stimulation also has been helping us a lot. I got some different black and white cards, books, toys etc and these seem to keep him distracted for a little bit when I put him down in his bouncer or under his play gym. It will pass. Just a phase they go through at this age. Hang in there momma. 💗💗

Sounds like you’re going through the second leap!! Have you heard of the wonder weeks? My 8 week old is doing the exact same behaviours. Annoying but it will pass soon x
