My girl is 7 months old on the 12th Aug. And has rolled over to belly quite a lot and has rolled back a few times but not always. She started sitting independently yesterday but can only handle short periods!

my little girl say independently at 17w, rolled back to belly at 18w, rolled belly to back at 20w and started crawling at 28w x

My boy hasn’t rolled once so far and he’s 7 months on Monday! He doesn’t even seem interested in trying to roll either he’s happy laying there. He does sit independently for a couple of minutes and then he would face-plant if I didn’t catch him

Mine started crawling at 5 months sharp and stands up holding on since six months old sharp. He started rolling when he was 3 months old if I remember right... he is unstoppable!

My little girl had no interest in rolling, or tummy time and will just scream and cry. She does sit independently to a certain extent, but does fall now and then until she gets enough strength in her arms. I think she’ll crawl by going forward as she’s started leaning forward, but legs are still to follow. All babies are different and they will do it when they want to. I just kept playing on the floor with her and getting her to sit up with me x

Yes hes been sitting up for a couple of months now and started crawling recently. Its lovely but feel like i need eyes in the back of my head. He doesn't roll over though unless it's accidental! Like he won't get up if I put him on his back. He Can stand alone when holding on to things too (like in a cot). X

Hey ladies, for those whose little ones are sitting independently, can they get themselves into this position ? Xx

@Ellie my boy can’t get himself into a sitting position, he can only keep himself sitting if you put him that way x

@Ellie yes, has been able to do this from 27w x
