Runny poos

My little one is 8.5 months now and from when I can remember he's always had runny poos. 9/10 times always leak. Sometimes they are thick and stoggy but most of the time like runny porridge consistency. I always read about littles getting constipated at this stage of weaning but I just don't have that issue! At times it's like yellow stained napped with bits and at times it's runny porridge and dark green. Should I be worried? This has all just become normal for me now but can't help but wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same? Hes never uncomfortable or in pain.

I would question the dark green for sure! My baby is 8 months and hates actual food, so has stages of runny poos, sometimes bits also, yellowy brown bits also too. Similar but without the green? I’ve found feeding her more starch based things helps, even if it’s just a few mouthfuls. Our food times are a struggle, and I feel like crying sometimes, but I’ve found even a few mouthfuls helps. If you’re giving a lot of fruit juiced based stuff I’ve found stopping them as much as you can helped too! It seemed to thicken? She had a good week or two at 6 months with her poos but it’s been the same! She’s blown out a lot more recently, even though her nappy’s are the right size 😊 it’s also caused her bits of nappy rash here and there. I hope this helps, and it’s not just your little baby, they’re all at their own pace with bits, and this is one of them I think. But at least they’re comfortable and are passing instead of the opposite! 🥰
