I would never go back to the one that happened to be closest to me when I was pregnant with my first. I avoided one that was a bit further because my first husband had a terrible experience there. I went 20 minutes further to a much nicer facility in every way to give birth each of my daughters❤️
@Alissa wow thank you for sharing. Sounds like you picked the right place
My baby daddy and I hope I could give birth at one hospital, but when I asked my OB/GYN about it, she said that because of her medical affiliation, I can only give birth at another hospital instead, luckily this hospital has a reputation where most of my family was born at
I’m a type 1 Diabetic and was always aware of how easily something could go wrong, so I picked the one with the world class NICU (and thank Bob I did as baby #2 came at 32 weeks due to my severe preeclampsia/HELLP! 39 days in NICU for baby girl. My third baby did 2 1/2 days for lie sugars that wouldn’t stay up. 😔). Funnily enough, even though the NICU is new, it’s actually where I was born as well.
