@Helen im so sorry. I hope they are helping. And remember you got this mama!
@Kareen you've also got this! I have been battling the same feelings of "what am I doing wrong? Is this my fault? What could I have done to prevent this?" And there's no answer to any of those questions. We are all doing our best and getting help from state services or developmental pediatricians or however else we can is the best first step we can make
@Helen it's just hard sometimes and I feel alone with it sometimes. But we stay strong for them.
@Kareen it is so hard and so hard to stay strong! Having a partner to lean on or friends, anyone who can support you for a moment to let you be weak is so crucial for these times in our lives. If you ever want to talk, feel free to message me!
We just had our son evaluated using our state's Early Intervention Services program. They determined he qualifies for free services because he has over a 50% delay in communication so now he is scheduled to meet with a speech pathologist and developmental specialist 2 times a month each and they created a whole therapy plan for him and us to follow for the next six months
