Breastfeeding in public help

Any advice for breastfeeding in public?! 🫠 I have a cover that I use but I’m just absolutely petrified to do it. I’ve tried a few times now but always feel myself getting more and more worried and wishing my daughter would just hurry so I can stop 🤦🏼‍♀️ Would love if there’s anyone else who exclusively breastfeeds to go for coffee with so I’m not the only one who might have to breastfeed 🤱

There are a few places that are especially breastfeeding friendly that you could try to build confidence. Coffeehog in prettygate has a sign that says breastfeeding friendly and there are ALWAYS new mums in there. I’ve never used a cover and never had any comments or issues. You’ve got this!

It’s daunting isn’t it. I’m currently exclusively breastfeeding my 3 month old daughter and also breastfed my 4 year old son until he was 2. Personally I’ve never received any nasty looks or negative comments, quite the opposite if anything. I hope that helps xxx

More than happy to meet for coffee. I just whip my boobs out now. I don’t even bother with a cover, especially in this heat. It does take some time to feel comfortable to though!

Hey Louise! Im also just breastfeeding, and definitely took me some time to get used to it! But it’s an amazing thing and we’re just feeding our babies and it’s everyone else’s issue if they have a problem with it! Besides, probably never see them again anyway 🤣 You’re not alone! Always up for going for a Coffee if you ever want some company too🫶🏼✨

I’ve been EBF my daughter for almost 7 months now , my daughter only feeds in the football/rugby position so I can’t really use a cover so most of my boob is out . But I’m at the point now of not really caring as much. If she needs to eat , I feed her. Of course is daunting at first but also is your baby’s food source . Be confident muma . You’ve got this !
