Sleep

I can ever get to sleep I think it’s my anxiety. Does anyone take anything that actually makes you go to sleep and not take hours to kick in

I take Magnesium Glycinate for my sleep/restless legs and drink chamomile tea. (Im breastfeeding so that's about all Im comfortable with taking) With anxiety I find some meditation podcasts/videos can really help me.

I have had a lot of difficulty with sleep since delivery. At first, half a unisom tablet was plenty to help me sleep and stay drowsy. Then I went through a traumatic experience with a negative reaction to an antidepressant that I was prescribed for anxiety that actually caused full nights of insomnia. I’m working with a lactation focused psych who prescribed me 100mg of trazodone and we are working to eventually wean off of that and try magnesium as well. My anxiety has seen major improvements since getting better rest. I hope you can find something that works for you— talk to your doctor!
