Breastfeeding

So I’ve been trying to breast-feed my twins, but I’m not making enough of milk. I’ve only been pumping because my twins don’t latch on to my boob so pumping is the only way that I do feed them but each time I only make about 3 ounces at most 4 1/2, my twins are 10 days old and I just feel like they are not getting enough so whenever I don’t make even the 3 ounces I use formula but I really really want to only give them breastmilk so what I’m asking is what have you guys used to up your milk supply, also any tips to help your baby latch on?

What gestation were they born at sweet? Xx

38weeks 1 day

Power pumping, lactation supplements, hand expression, breast massage, eating more whole foods, and drinking more liquids like coconut water. Eating oatmeal with chia seeds and coconut oil every morning.

Can you try getting donor milk?

@Yvette how do I do that

@daisy let me ask my doula if she knows. Ik at the hospital you could ask if you can get it especially if they were nicu babies. Are you in CA

Oh to increase milk supply try getting your babies to latch every 2 hours, drinking organic coconut water water, and you can text me and I can send a video of what my stepmom made for me that made me so full of milk (just makes you sweat a ton). It includes almond milk, rice water, and a very little dab of lechera if you want it for flavor

A human milk bank can give you fresh donor milk if you have a prescription from your doctor. Or if you know someone who has extra and is willing to give it or sell it

@Yvette they aren’t nicu babies, and yes I’m in California
