What to do with my time?

What do you do when your kid is at school to fill your time? My son is 2 and he will go to ABA therapy 3 times a week by himself for 6 hours a day. I’m happy that he is getting the therapy he needs but wow. I feel like I maybe took for granted him being little because I thought he would be going to school like maybe 4 years old or so. I’m not exactly sure what to do to fill my time while he’s gone. I’ve tried to get a job but the employers won’t hire me because they said working little hours isn’t worth employing me. So yeah. Any ideas besides a job would be great.

- start up your own small business - work on something like Cambly when you are paid by hours - set up activities - tidy/clean - meal prep/plan - DIY/home decor - mend old clothes/repair stuff - gardening/planting Basically all the things you said you would do 😂 pick up any old hobbies you had from before

@KB I mean this truly means I can catch up on some sleep. I’ve been a single mom for the most part so many nights I didn’t get much sleep because being on your own means doing double and you’re very tired. Maybe I’ve finally caught a break lol

Enjoy the sleep. Hope your baby boy gets the help he needs. What are his autistic traits?

@KB he doesn’t have good eye contact with anyone other than me, doesn’t respond to his name, elopes, he’s nonverbal, he can’t control his emotions since he can’t talk and express himself freely, stimming is a big one: spinning in circles, rocking. He LOVES to spin wheels, when he gets mad he will throw everything on the ground like a tornado is coming thru, he hates his hands being dirty. He will freak out real bad. He’s been diagnosed by the state with mild/moderate autism. He also stares off into space a lot. That’s all I can think of right now but I might be missing some. Do you have an autistic child?

He’s very restless at night, he tosses and turns, kicks the wall. I tried giving him melatonin gummy but he like knew before he even gave it a chance and threw it which I can’t blame him but these kids are soooo smart
