strawberry hemangioma

Does anyone else’s baby have a strawberry hemangioma? Is this going white/grey because it’s going?

Mine does on her back had it since she was born and she’s 19 months now

Mine does on the back of her head! The doctor told me it won’t start to shrink and do the going away process until about 4 years old and up. That most of it should be gone by age 9-12.

I think that color just means the skin right there is a little dry/flaky? I’m not entirely sure, but that’s what it seems like when my baby’s hemangioma gets that way.

My son had a big one on his back on his spine. He’s 18M now and when he was around 1 year it started to fade and is now almost gone. It does turn like clear as it fades and the skin becomes more even in texture.

Thank you all 🤍
