1st birthday ideas

What are some places in the city you could recommend for baby’s 1st birthday party? My little girl’s first birthday is coming up in mid October and im slowly starting to look for venues and activities for her big day. It’s probably gonna be just family and a few close friends, about 15-25 people in total (depending on who can make it). It will mostly be adults and a few school-age kids (cousins). Ideally we’d want to stay within a reasonable budget but also make it cozy and memorable.
Also, any ideas of themes, games, contacts of catering companies, etc are much appreciated as well
I’m also in the midst of planning for my baby’s 1st bday in Oct. in view that the weather will be chilly, we’re looking at indoor space such as condo event hall, restaurant private dining area or home. Our guests will be about 30-40. Buffet style or cocktail food servings caterer. Entertainment: we have bubble and balloon artist for 30 mins. Budget was: $2500 plus decor backdrop
