Does Edith sound like “C. diff”? 😅

Edith has been creeping to the top of our girls list. Maybe it’s because I’m a nurse, but it suddenly dawned on me that “Edith” sort of sounds like “C. diff”? Am I insane? Does anyone else hear that? Could we still potentially use it or am I going to think of feces every time I say my child’s name if we do?

i think the majority of people won’t know what Cdiff is😂 i would say definitely use it! i wouldn’t have made the connection until you said it that’s only bc i worked in TSICU!

What is C Diff ?? Never heard of it so ima go with no

No, I don't think so. I think you're overthinking lol

Wb Eden, Eloise, Audra, Sadie, Blair,

I don’t think so, but since it’s already engrained into your mind I don’t think you’ll be able to think differently even if everyone else else doesnt lol. For example, I loved the name Porter but I always think of Porta Potty so that name would be a no go for me lol

I work in healthcare too and would never have thought of this so I think you're safe 😅. Edith is a cute name!

I think you’ve just ruined it for yourself 😂 I never would have linked the two

I work in a hospital so I know what CDiff is and it's in my regular vocabulary however I have never thought of it when looking at/hearing the name Edith so I honestly don't think it's similar! However if you've now associated it then it may be a problem 🤣🤣

Idk what that was so wouldn't worry

You only think that because you’re a nurse lol

Hahaha love this 😂 no one will think that don’t worry!!

I had to Google this. No way would I make that connection, you’re safe.
