Travelling with 4 month old.

I need to take a flight with my little and need some help. First flight is 14 hour non stop flight, 3 hour layover and another flight for 1 hour. My little one loves to be swaddled tight and I am worried how I will do it on flight with limited space. I am formula feeding her now so any hacks/tips or that? Also I find diaper changing station on plane very unhygienic any hacks or tips or that ? Overall any tips for flying will help.

Wow that’s a long flight! Are you on your own or is a partner/family member traveling with you? I haven’t been that far with my baby yet but did do our first flight recently. She slept amazingly well, I think the vibrations of the plane really knocked her out. Does your baby like to be worn? I would maybe suggest that for at least a little while! Certain airlines also have bassinets that you can request. I would absolutely try that for this long of a flight! You get upgraded to have more space and then you can swaddle your baby as usual. Not all airlines do this though so I would call ASAP as it’s usually first come first serve! No real tips for the formula but bring more than you plan on using. I would bring one of those travel cases and portion it out before you take off and during the layover so you don’t have to deal with scooping from the main can during the flight. I just bought water bottles in the airport to use but I’m 99% sure you can bring unopened water for formula.
