GD test

I have my gestational diabetes test tomorrow morning, I can’t remember if I have to fast from 8pm or 10pm tonight. What time has everyone else had to fast from?

Mine says from 10pm and my test is at 9am x

I had to from 10pm

Mine was 12 hours before the test x

Mine was at 9 and was told nothing but water after midnight

My appointment was at 8.20am and I had to fast from 10pm apart from sips of water. I would recommend taking a cold bottle of water for during the appointment. Plus a snack for after; I had a massive sugar crash at the back end of my appointment.

My appointment is 8.20am and they told me from 10pm the night before

10pm

My appointment was last week. I wasn’t allowed allowed anything except plain water from 10pm and my appointment was 9am x

Thank you ladies! My appointment is at 9am, I thought it was 10pm for fasting, but wanted to be sure before I started getting the temptation to have my evening bowl of cereal 😂

So strange all these different test times , mine said 8pm and my test was at 9:45 this morning

Mines 12 hours and I’m allowed water

Mine says 8pm and my appointment is at 9

You have to fast from 10pm

Mine never said a time, just don’t eat or drink anything other than water for at least 8 hours before the test time x

I had to fast from 8pm. 12 hours before my test x

Thank you. I just didn’t eat or drink anything other than water since like 7:30pm just to be safe!

Interesting how it seems to be different up and down the country! Mine was from midnight and my test was at 820am (and I was diagnosed with GD unfortunately)
