Complicated pregnancy 😂🫠

Hello! I'm just wondering if there's any mummy's to be on here that are in the same boat as me and having to take blood thinning injections every day???

Yep, I am, i absolutely hate it! I'm on fragmin once a day, the bruising is pretty brutal too 🙃 but it's for a good cause so I just get on with it.

I've not been told to this pregnancy yet but I'm not 12 weeks yet, but I had to do it on two separate occasions in my last pregnancy. Also had to take aspirin from 12 weeks to 38 weeks as well. I hated needles and it took a lot to mentally prepare. The bruising wasn't nice and I had to talk myself into why I was doing it. X

Hey yes I am on the injections once a day started at 6 weeks! They are horrible aren't they!

Yup. 👍🏽 nuance to start from 24 weeks currently 19 weeks. Not looking forward to it

Yes I am on clexane once a day

I’m on Clexane once a day. From what I recall from being on them in my 1st pregnancy, the pain gets better the bigger you get. I found that it doesn’t sting as much as your skin stretched. Really feel for you as I’m finding it more painful this time round and hate doing them x

Yes clexane once a day and progesterone injection once a day since my IVF transfer so nearly 11 weeks now - I’m still injecting in my belly, is everyone else? Considering moving to my thigh to avoid an ugly bruised baby belly!

Bless u! I had to inject tinzaparin throughout my pregnancy and 6 weeks afterwards. Was not fun at all but it does save lives so just go for it hun. Praying the time flies by for u 🙏🏾💕

Not exact same both but after the birth of my second son I got a blood clot in my leg. And had to take blood thinners for 3 months so I can empathise with you as I know how nippy they are. Definitely recommend belly over thighs

@Amy oh nooo! Have you tried in your thigh? I've been on blood thinners for 9 years now,but I've been put onto the injections for pregnancy. Don't really bruise much in the thigh xx
