Grandma called

So i smoke maybe 1/2 - 1 blunt in the whole day. Ive been relactating a month and my mom found out she has cancer maybe 2 1/2 weeks ago. She called my grandma a few days ago saying it’s stressing her out that i smoke and plan on giving my baby my milk… 1 that call didnt do what she thought it would 2 i started back smoking when i had him so if she didnt believe anything was wrong then and she didnt know i was smoking then clearly there’s nothing wrong with him now..

I’m sorry to hear about her cancer and I hope she pulls through well. Also the amount of thc in your breastmilk is super super low. Maybe it’s not about you and just about how she’s feelings right now overall

Nothing wrong with it but the blunt wraps have tobacco which could pass to the milk. Some babies with sensitive skin get reactions, I’m not telling you what to do , just sharing some info that I didn’t know in the beginning.

Some people are super old school and don't know the facts.

@Monét honestly i just dont like that shes doing it after her diagnosis thinking my grandma would get on me hard bc whats going on with her..when me n my mom been having this issue

@De’Nai I’ll definitely keep a look out for that so far he’s literally the same i stopped bf when he was 4months fed only formula 4 months now month 9 i still see no difference I’ve definitely been taking note and thank you for the information 🖤

I don't know if she is undermining you. So much as she is judging you. But that's what everyone does. Even my MIL who is super nice to me tends to judge me too. Good for you. Don't let any of it effect you. Just keep your head up and do what you feel and know is best. 💙
