Yeah I have a wonderful support system around me my mum said she will support which ever route I go down and I haven’t spoken to any professional about the trauma really I never really thought of it as a huge problem until now that I’m pregnant again
It’s great that you’ve got your mom to lean on however I think more than anything else you need to pick a way forward that’s right for you. Having another child may be the best thing in the world for you or it may completely overwhelm you. It’s not an easy decision but you need to consider the fact that having a child is a big responsibility which you’ll be taking on for the next 18 years at least. If you don’t feel, at this stage, like you’ll be able to devote 100% of your love, time and attention to another child then I personally feel that is your answer.
Hi Shauna, do you have a support system around you to rely on who’d help you take care of your babies? It’s natural to feel scared when you’ve had a traumatic birth experience, is there someone you can talk to (a professional or otherwise) who can help you process what your body went through during your previous pregnancy?
