Also just to add, theres a few diffrent ways to try and turn the baby into the righ position before going to a c section
All these feelings make so much sense! Do your best not to overthink and go too far down the rabbit hole. You’re 20weeks now, you’ve still got PLENTY of time left before baby arrives! If you’re open to it, I’d suggest looking into some of the resources by Bridget Teyler or Krisha Crosley to help encourage baby get into a better position 😊 you’ve got influence over your outcome! 🙏🏽 I hope this helps
That's completely normal! Both my babies were breech at 20 weeks and I'm terrified of the idea of a c section so I was nervous, but both of them flipped around no problem. It's very common. Try not to worry, there's a ton of time and space for baby to move around right now and they'll probably flip back and forth several times before settling. And like others have said, there are a lot of things to try before a c section of baby is stubborn about it
Try not to worry someone I know has had a breech baby for a long time and they’ve just got it head down now at 36/37 weeks. X
I'm 29w and he was breech at my last appt last week and they've said still that they're not worried but the last thing I want is a Csec so I'm right there with you mama!
Everything about giving birth is scary, regardless of the method you do! If it helps - my friend had a c section with her first, and opted for a c section the 2nd time around too even though VBAC was offered to her. She felt more comfortable going through the c section again vs. having to try a vaginal delivery! Either way, you’ll be ok mama ❤️❤️ you got lots of time for baby to move too
My baby was transverse the entire pregnancy up until 32 weeks and I was terrified he showed no signs of moving since he was always transverse but I went for a scan at 33 weeks and he had flipped! He hasn’t moved since and now he’s deeply engaged so it looks like he’s staying put, try and not stress about it 80% of babies move head down before labour
My some was breach up to 28 weeks. I was induced at 36 weeks. My son turned around and came out fine 😊 you'll do fine mama ❤️
Thank you all so much. I’ve been trying not to stress it. It just really sucks to think about if that’s what ends up happening though. I’m so scared of one.
my daughter was breech until 32 or 35 weeks i’m pretty sure
i understand the worry but most babies are breech at 20 weeks and most get into head down position between 24-28 weeks because their inner ear that tells them what’s up and down hasn’t formed until then. my baby was breech at my 19w scan then i had one at 25w and she was head down. 29 weeks and now she’s transverse so they have plenty of room to flip all over :)
