I don’t believe that there’s any higher risk of having placenta previa if you have had it before. It doesn’t increase the risk of having it the second time.
For my first I had a previa. It was undetected and traumatic. I’ve had two more kids since with no complications. I asked to have scheduled C-sections for my other two babies. I was told it’s very unlikely that I would have another Previa.
Not placenta previa but I had pre eclampsia and we lost our son at 26 weeks after he was in NICU for a week. Obviously super traumatic but 2 years later we saw all the drs got everyone’s opinions and decided to try again, with intense monitoring of course. In February we had our little miracle 🩷 it can be done. See all the applicable drs, read scientific studies, read stories from other women, and then make your own decision. There is always a risk. Each pregnancy is a blank slate usually, so you never know what might happen, only you can decide if it’s worth the risk 👍🏼
