I don’t think any of those names are too out there for the UK at all!! I love Blake as a girls name, and I’ve always loved Nell so personally I’d use that & Nellie as a nickname! X
They’re not too out there for uk, some are quite American imo but nothing wrong with that. My faves are Nella, Blake and Sydney
I love Blake 😍 Prefer Lacey to Laney
Love Blake and Halle! Halle Blake would be a cute combo 💕
Nella/Nellie is beautiful 🩷
I love Blake and Halle!
We have a Penelope it suits her so much, she gets called Penny, Nel, Nellie.
I’m in the UK too and think all of these names are beautiful and not too out there 🩷
Obsessed with Nellie! That was on my list
I really love Sydney for a girl!
i can't imagine any of those names resulting your daughter being bullied. personally, I'm not keen on Sydney - but not because it's "too out there", just personal preference. honestly don't think any of these names would be "weird" choices for a girl in the UK. 🤷🏻♂️ my favourites from your list are Nella/Nellie - although given that you also like Penelope, you could go with that and still have the potential to use Nellie or Nell as a nickname. 💕 Blake is cute and has a more modern, spunky kinda vibe to it, and i love Halle - the only thing I may consider is spelling it Hallie, just because that way, it will always be pronounced correctly. I imagine lost people in the UK are aware how to correctly pronounce Halle, but it could be mistaken as "Hal" in the way that Belle is pronounced "Bel" - if that makes sense. either way though, a beautiful name! 💕
Halle & Nella are cute
I love Nella! So cute!
I’ve not heard of Laney before but believe me, as a teacher I have come across far more bizarre names than these!

I love Halle and Laney the most! I don't think they are too out there at all!
We had Blake on our list of girls names. Also, Blair which I really love and hope to use with our next, potentially for either gender! X
None of these are ‘too out there’ for the UK. Blake, Nella and Sydney are my favourites!
I love Penelope and Nellie/Nelly for short
