Step daughter has croup
Hi, we have my partners daughter every weekend and her mom called to say she’s poorly and most likely got croup with a barking cough and temperature. My partner said he will have her because he thought she was lying.
I did say to him are you willing to risk it as we have a 17 month old who is just getting over a cold. He said yes. Am I being out of order for being annoyed and disappointed with him for saying yes he will have her?
I understand what you’re saying but she is his daughter and he is responsible for looking after her even when she’s poorly. Follow usual precautions that you would if SD was your own. Wash hands, don’t let them share cups etc. The only reason I would agree she should stay home with mum is if she’s far too poorly to be leaving the house and going in the car etc xx
