Did you speak to your work about having those hours within school time or did you just apply for a job with those hours ? I’m only asking cos I can’t find any jobs by me where I can work within school time
I used to work crazy hours because I worked in an urgent care. I’ve since switched to primary care and typically can work 9-5. It’s hard because you almost have less time with them, and your free hours are also hours they need to eat, get ready for bed, or you just need time to destress. A solid routine and finding experiences or places to go so you get your 1:1 time is vital. I have a 5 year old so a bit different from you
I did my own side business, making dairy and Non Dairy butter and sweets. I set my own hours, but when the L.O. is asleep, I'll make big batches of butter and candy to start selling it. Sometimes, this one doesn't nap, and I include her in trying some of the things that I do. She loves it and is my little helper
I work full time and am in the final year of my degree with a one year old. He goes to nursery whilst I take leave to do my studies and my mum has his twice a week when working too. Routine is our best friend, I have zero social life other than soft play lol but step by step I’m building the life I want for us. Keep it simple and drama free x
I work 8:30-4:30. Her daycare is open 7am-6:30pm. I drop her off around 7:20am get her for the most part around 5:30. When I took the job I was very adamant and communicative that I have a child and restrictions. Same with the job I had prior. It’s hard but you will find a job that works with you.
I work 10-2 or 9.30-2.30 but my son just started primary so it's easier now
