As someone who developed severe pre eclampsia and HELLP in my first pregnancy unfortunately there is nothing you are able to do to prevent it. Even taking aspirin does not fully prevent it. For the positive part due to being in multiple organ failure I had my son at 26 + 5 weeks and he is thriving now- they are able to do so much for these tiny baby’s. At the end of the day if it happens the hospital will deal with it the best possible way and with the best possible outcome for you and baby ❤️
@Monserrat could you please share the brand of this urinalysis strip? I also worry about pre eclampsia and would be good to do this urine test myself. Thank you
@Monserrat thank you very much!
There is a very helpful fb page for low papp-a BTW. I'll share the link if you'd like it. X
Hi!!! I am having the same feelings as you, I worry too much so I bought a blood pressure monitor so I can monitor myself and some urinalysis strip test (where you can see if there is protein in your urine) and I do a test once per week. I know I am not a doctor and of course I would look for their help if something is going on, but at least monitoring myself weekly helps me to put my mind at ease when I am overthinking without any proof something is going wrong … It will sound crazy but I also try to talk to my placenta every morning 🙈 I ask it to protect my baby, I know some people will laugh at it but I do believe that our cells responds to our thoughts and feelings… Hope you feel better ❤️🩹
