For me i had period cramps for about a week and then on the following 2 days after I was getting sharp pains along with period cramps and that was when my contractions started, they started around 9 in the morning and got more painful around about 4 in the morning and I went into the maternity unit and I was 4cm dilated, so personally I would look out for cramping and things like that etc. I know everyone is different with these things but just keep an eye out for that as it could be the same for you x
my water broke and i thought i was just accidentally weeing myself and changed my pants multiple times before thinking about it being my waters, ended up ringing triage and they asked me to go in and didn't feel any different until they induced me and still took a couple hours after that to even feel any sort of contraction
once you lose your mucus plug, you’re very close to going in labour
@Incognito i lost my mucus plug multiple times between 37 and 39 weeks, my midwife said it can regenerate
It honestly differs from woman to woman for me I had really loose bowel movements. I was extremely tired and it was like a pushing in my lower back. I would say the best thing that you could do if you have a yoga ball be on that sit on that And slow down listen to your body if you’re tired go lay down if you want to have a walk have a walk the best thing that you can do is try and relax and I know that’s easier said than done at the end of the day your body is designed to do this And if you’re worried, ring the hospital or birthing the centre. You’ve got this and I bet you can’t wait to meet a little baby.
