Does anyone know what this mark is on the back of my son’s head?
Shaved his hair off today for the first time and saw this ..
He’s been preterm at 33 weeks and is almost 4 weeks now

Why have you shaved his head out of curiosity?
@Elena because the hair they are born with is considered unclean in our culture
It makes me feel sad that you shaved all his beautiful newborn hair off with a razor 🥺
My little boy's birth mark is exactly the same as this, but agree with @Dreia it does look a little irritated x
It’s just a stork bite birth mark, will likely fade, nothing to worry about. I’m curious what made you shave his hair?
