My little ones first birthday is in 3 days and I'm honestly having the same issue with trying to find the right kind of party foods for kids and adults so I kinda grabbed whatever I thought and was comforting with
I’m planning on doing a fruit platter & dips cracker & veggies, fairy bread, beef sliders and little sandwich slices was thinking of doing cake pops or just getting cupcakes but I’m at a loss for what else I can do for the adults as I want to make it as easy for myself as I can
For my daughter's first birthday we had arancini, sandwiches, sushi, pizza, donuts and salads for the adults. Most of it, apart from the salads were from Costco. For the toddlers/babies I brought a box of snacks I'd normally give my kids- sugar free yogurt pouches, homemade fritters, fruit etc and just let the parents choose what to give their little ones. There was so much food left over and it was so much work (making the adults food, and I didn't even make anything from scratch except the sandwiches) that I told hubby that for every birthday after that one we'll go somewhere that does all the catering. Keep it simple if doing it yourself
Paella, pulled pork, pasta & potato salads, chartcuterie with cheeses rolled ham, watermelon = anything a baby can also eat
Following! I have no idea honestly
