I’m 26 and gave birth to my 3rd baby 7 weeks ago. I also wanted to tie my tubes especially as all births have been c sections. I was basically told no they wouldn’t allow me because I’m too young 😂 I didn’t fight back much because I didn’t feel educated enough. They may try to deny you as well due to age, just giving you a heads up
Not personal experience but a friend of mine just had them done during her c section too. She had to really advocate for herself and seek multiple drs opinions in order to be approved as they seemed to think they knew her mind better than she did. She's in her 30s and it was her second baby
If possible, could your partner get the snip instead? The snip has no side effects whereas a lot of women have heavier periods and a range of different side effects after having tubes done (not speaking for all, but a lot)
I have my tubes tied with my 2nd baby during my c-section. No complications, went well. I was 29 when I got them tied ☺️
