I’ve used palmers stretch mark lotion every other day since the first trimester. I am now 32 weeks and haven’t got any stretch marks 💗 My sister also used it with her second as she suffered really bad stretch marks with her first, and it worked wonders! Could be a coincidence though
When I spoke to my midwife, she told me most products are myths and it’s generally just the genetics and the way your body will carry that may/may not cause stretch marks. Having said that, I still used Bio-Oil. I did get stretch marks, even with using this multiple times a day! I know some people who used nothing and got no marks! Some call it luck, I guess! 🤷♀️ With me using Bio-Oil, it may of reduced them, but I can’t be sure. But just having the massage with my bump made me feel closer to my baby/form a bond, so that in itself felt worth it! I also continued this to (hopefully) reduce my marks after birth, but I still do have a lot that show. Again, it could have reduced them -who knows if my marks would had been worse if I hadn’t of continued it. I’ve learnt to embrace them as they are part of a powerful journey!
@Chloe-Louise 100% about the powerful journey part! 🙌🏻 Thank you for sharing!
Bio oil helps fade /reduce them
Secret saviours is what I used and they say it prevents the stretch mark forming a line. Have a look 😀
unfortunately topical products cannot prevent them, they form deep in the layers of the skin. staying moisturized might help the severity and healing process tho!
I had no stretch marks until 30+ weeks and woke up covered in them one day... I had used Maude and Myrtle balm, Bio oil, Palmer's and Weleda oil. There is nothing much you can actually do... Xx
I used Secret Saviour pants with both of mine, no stretch marks and I had a massive bump both times. Not sure if it was the pants or genes which meant no stretch marks but worth a shot? https://secretsaviours.com
