If you have had a healthy pregnancy up to this point I wouldn’t think about going early. Of course anything can happen but likely you will go till your due date if allowed to and may even go over it.
I was so scared with my first baby that when they told me she was breech at 36 weeks I was almost relieved and was hoping she would stay that way so I could have a c section. She ended up turning and I gave birth at 37 weeks naturally. It was no way near as bad as I expected, I would actually say it was a really positive experience and I was so so proud of myself afterwards. Currently pregnant with my second and not feeling nervous about a natural labour again, I would actually feel more nervous if they told me I was having a c section I reckon! Whatever happens you will be absolutely fine 🙏🏽♥️
Hey lovely, I’m also a FTM and have done some hypnobirthing courses through the positive birth company and it really helps completely shift your mindset about birth. I’m excited for it now x
If you have an elective booked and you go into natural labour they will just get you in ASAP and do an emergency section.
