I have a confession

I am a POC & I have not been taking my baby aspirin pills (my body could only tolerate but so much, so I prioritized prenatal vits) . I wonder if it’s too late to lower the chances of preeclampsia. I’m 29 weeks in a few days. My pelvic area is crazy in pain !!!!!!!

Did your doctor recommend taking aspirin to prevent preeclampsia or have you been prone to preeclampsia in past pregnancies ? I’m just trying to understand why you’re very concerned about getting it. I’m wondering if you could maybe be having early labor signs or some normal pelvic floor pain. 🤔 Sometimes it’s common in pregnancy to have pelvic floor pain if your hips are expanding too much for your body’s comfort.

Nope take them now until dr says to stop!!! My doctor told me she would let me know when to stop but to continue taking them and I have a refill

I’m 25 weeks and I haven’t taken them …. I haven’t had preeclampsia with my other two pregnancies, and I’m pretty sure I’m not going to have it this time either …. And honestly this pregnancy I haven’t been on any prenatals … I feel much healthier this time around…. I’m worried about anything…

It's always in the last trimester you have to be careful for me my last pregnancy everything was great and good until the 3rd trimester then it hit the blood pressure spiked so high i was lucky I made it to 37 weeks on labetalol. I'm lucky to not get preclampcia but threw a clot. I stopped taking the baby asprin. I felt fine worked out, and I worked full time as a cna. Extremely active, yall 10,000 plus steps a day eating clean still hit me. Just dont risk it. Take your vitamins, take your asprin. You will be okay. God bless.

This is a great question for your provider. They are more aware of your personal risks and situation and can make a recommendation.

@Kellsey doctor recommended it and I didn’t have it in any previous pregnancy. Still very painful to walk, but don’t feel contractions 😫

Thank you everyone, I’m gonna talk to my provider about this!
