I'm not working, but my parents are both nurses and my sister is a CNA. I won't be surprised if they catch something and pass it to my baby
Honestly i have not done much being on leave but just stresses me everywhere we go im make sure hands are washed and sanitized and people are touching him do the same and of course NO kissing.. its just mentally exhausting worrying about your little one falling sick..🥺
Have you considered getting RSV shot for the baby? Usually in the season between Oct-March, the newborns are offered RSV shots.
@Neha i plan on bring it up for his one month shots!
@Courtney that's when I got it for mine. She was a little tired but otherwise okay
I wish I got this while I was pregnant, mines just for his at 4 weeks
@Yoki They didnt even offer it to me which im upset with my ob office about!
My baby pediatrician offered to us at her 2 weeks. Think it varies provider to provider.
Girl I keep checking his breathing like a psycho cause I’m so scared of RSV 😮💨
@Gigi Girl same its exhausting not knowing if something is wrong…
I had my baby get the RSV antibody shot a few weeks ago and I'm glad I did, as my toddler came home from preschool with RSV. Luckily the baby has been fine but I attribute that to him getting the shot.
Me! I have a 15 month, 1 month old and 2 older kids that are in school. My older kids are always bringing something home. I haven't looked into the RSV vaccine. I don't personally know anyone that had given it to their baby and our pedi hasn't brought it up, so I'm not sure I'm comfortable giving it to my baby. I'm torn between staying in the house and getting out. My 15 month old and I like to get out of the house. We aren't going anywhere for the hoildays.
yes lmao my girl is a month today and my leave ends in two weeks. i’m a daycare teacher so i just know she’ll catch something in a week or less, fingers crossed she’ll be okay
