Is anyone else feeling really nervous about sending their kids to daycare? I'm a first-time mom and I currently don’t have a support system or anyone to help watch my child at all. Obviously, I need to work. I work part-time but I need to start working full-time.

Yes I do. My son is 15 months and I've been home with him since birth. I really need to start working. I've been depressed because I haven't had an income in 2 years now because my husband isn't giving me any money but at the same time, I am afraid to leave him with someone. I don't trust people. You never know what they're doing to your kid behind your back. I had a daycare worker told me, she would never put her own kids in daycare.

Totally agree with Kimoya. I used to work in a daycare setting and I would see things that l wouldn’t personally put my kids in that. Not everyone is going to care for your babies like you.

I don’t judge anyone’s situation because people have to do what has to be done . But also chose to be a stay at home mom . It’s very isolating but I’m way too scared to use daycare .

My child is going to be a private child care person and I’m super nervous I pray over my child daily and myself for me to see anything I need to see. But I definitely understand I have to go back.I will tap in next week to let y’all know how it goes lol

It’s definitely scary because you never know how people really are. I was running my own own business for a while,, homeschooling, and put my daughter who was the youngest at the time in a daycare near me. Come to find out the daycare owner‘s daughter that lived upstairs, had several men coming in throughout the day when the children were there because she couldn’t keep her legs closed.I felt like that was really unsafe and exposure to people that they were not supposed to be around was uncalled for.
