I like the name ‘Alina’ but my cousins kid is named ‘Alaina’

They live in Cali and we live in Canada, see each other every couple years. I can totally see our older relatives giving us heck for this, but maybe I shouldn’t care idk.

I think it's fine. You live in different countries and it's not the same name.

If you like it go for it

It might be weird if you got together every week for family dinner or something like that, but in this case it’s probably fine

I love it and I know an Alina - she is the most loving, healthy kind person. They’re completely different names - go for it- older people are always moaning about something anyway lol

Love the name, it's on my list too! I had a very sweet friend with that name.

Totally different names

It’s fine! My mom had a first cousin in the same school district with the same name as her- first and last Hahah just spelled differently- didn’t stop them!

I think it’s so cute for second cousins to almost share a name have that bond obviously u have similar taste in names not a bad thing at all it’s cute

1. It’s not the same name 2. You live in two different countries

My niece name is Gabriella and I named my daughter Aubriella. They love each other. We all live in Canada.
