We just invite close family over, the weekend before his birthday for Pizza and cake. Nothing extravagant. Then me, dad and LO usually do a day out on his actual birthday. 1st we did Sealife centre, 2nd we went to a big sensory soft play, this year we’re planning to take him to a toddler climbing session at a place called ‘Rock up’ and a first trip to the cinema to see the new Paddington movie. (He’s Paddington obsessed)

We’re just having family go out house again this year. I toyed with the idea of a party with nursery friends but figured he was still too young, so just having a tea party on his actually birthday as it falls on a weekend this year. We’ll go out as a family the day after, maybe a trip to the zoo x

We're going with grandparents out for the day and then to his favorite curry house

We're having a tea party a couple of days before when all her brothers and sister are here.. her birthday lands on a Saturday where the rest are unfortunately with their other parent (we're a mixed bunch and Elaine is our only child as a couple) but because there's only us 3 we're hoping for a long weekend in the canaries 🌞

We always go for a family day out. This year we are going to Stockeld Park which has a huge indoor play, illuminations outside, outdoor areas to walk around and a Santa visit 😊

@Kirsty this seem nice! Wish it’s near us!

@Alice Dreaming of warm weather, for sure it will be lovely

@Mel s yeah we might just get to his grandpa’s and go somewhere

@Bonnie cinema would be great, my boy will like this

@Claire we did the zoo last yr. it was fun!

@Kirsty the indoor play area at Stockheld is insane, be prepared to be worn out 🤣🤣

@Alice last time we went he was only just crawling so definitely expecting it to be manic this time 😂

My little boy had asked for a party and a bouncy castle 😅 we were hoping we’d have a few more years to get away with not having one!

We’re doing a small soft play party, they do food for all the kids and we can bring our own cake which is nice x

My little boys birthday lands on Saturday this year so we are taking him to softplay and when he comes home we've arranged for close family and friends to be here and we are having a little home party for him pizza and cake. He's obsessed with bing so we've ordered bing balloons and bing tableware 😅

@Kirsty we're going on Halloween and then we always go new Year's Eve too. It's so good! Although I sprained my ankle chasing him through the play hive last year 😂😭

@Mel s I bet it's amazing at Halloween too!! Oh no 😥 heres to no injuries this year 😂

We’ll see family on the actual day but we’ve booked a soft play party for the weekend after! X

@Kirsty it’s close to me and I’ve still never been! Might have to look at booking for the illuminations!

@Gemma it's not far from us either but we've only been once. It does look really good around Christmas time ☺️ x

It's so good, a proper full day out with loads to do. I wish they opened all year round

Small gathering with family, and on a separate day having a few nursery friends over for a tea party

Out in the day, just the 3 of us & then we are doing something small with both sets of grandparents & then a soft play party with friends the following day.
