High blood pressure
I just had a 31 week app today and my blood pressure was sky high that they kept me in day care for a couple of hours and now prescribed me medication to help bring it down.
The Dr spoke to me about the signs of preeclampsia and that I could be taken in early to deliver if my blood pressure does remain high!
Anyone else the same?

Yep I'm the same at nearly 34 weeks. Went into triage on Monday with high blood pressure and they kept me in overnight until the tablets had stabilised it and now going to be checked more regularly going forward. Hoping the tablets will keep it steady 🤞 they can always up the dose if it gets higher but I have been told that early induction is a possibility

Currently in the same boat 33+4 today went to triarge yesterday to check baby out after having a bump in the car ended up staying over night with sky high blood pressure that just wouldn’t come down had all the tests for preeclampsia but there okay just high blood pressure I was medicated for it but unfortunately didn’t work, after trying another medication hopefully works but needed double the dose so definitely in the same boat! X
