Have any of you had your glucose test yet?

Google says 24-28 weeks, I know somethings are time sensitive and Im nearing 28weeks with no testing ordered.

I’m 29 weeks 1 day today and still haven’t had mine. It’s scheduled for next week. I thought it was pretty odd as well since I had brought up multiple times about my blood sugar dropping

I did mine at 25 weeks. I’d advocate for it with your OB especially since I saw your other post where you haven’t had any bloodwork done at all!

I had mine at 28 week appointment

@Tiffany yeahhh my ob sucks... I've been trying to switch but most obs are full... I asked my ob but they said next visit so (32weeks) and said no when I asked for blood work

@Amaura i’d ask them to document it in your file in case anything happens you have evidence that you asked and they denied bloodwork. It sucks that you can’t find another provider!

I got one at 20 weeks (due to PCOS) and I passed but recently did not pass the one I got at 28 weeks. Today I got the 3 hour one done and waiting on those results!

I’m doing mine next week at my 29 week appointment.

I did mine last week at 27 weeks.

I do mine next week at my 28 week appointment and luckily I don’t have to fast 😅 With my first I did it at 25 weeks

@Tiffany that's a super good point! I didn't think of that. Thank you💕

I just did mine last week at 28 weeks.

I’m a controlled type 2 diabetic so my doctor is just ordering an A1C vs the sugar test.

i had mines at my 24 week appointment

I'm at 28 weeks and mine will be done next week!

I took one at 14 weeks because my A1C levels posed a concern and I barely passed and then took another at the normal time most pregnant woman do at 25 or 26 weeks and failed was devastated. Last week I took the 3 hour glucose test at 27 weeks and passed and I never want to experience it again but I do plan on having another child after this one so I know I'll have to do it again 😅

I just had mine at 28/29 weeks. I would be clear that when you are asking for blood work you are inquiring about the glucose test since blood work is really general. It’s typically a standard test around this time in pregnancy but the effects generally appear later in pregnancy. Waiting a week or so may not be a huge issue especially if you are generally of good health, low risk, and eating quality food. But definitely have them notate why it was delayed just so you have a good record.

I took mine late at 31 weeks. Whoopsies!
