Miss my body😭

I am SO grateful to have been able to naturally carry and give birth to my beautiful baby girl as I know a lot of people can’t so let’s start by saying I know this is a bit of a ‘boo hoo’ post but I need to rant 🥴 and some advice! I am missing my body pre-pregnancy so much. I’m ready to lose this weight as I was 69kg before conceiving and I’m now an uncomfortable 83kg (I’m not tall AT ALL) I feel super unhealthy and I am not making smart choices… basically just eating whatever and whenever some days & eating soooo many biscuits 🙈despite being a good cook (I cook a nice healthy meal a few times a week - but I don’t have the same time I used to with 2 bigger kids and a newborn)… it’s lots of rubbish at the moment- any advice on how you guys are managing to eat well? Has anyone started to work out yet? Please don’t judge me! Need some tips on how to realistically start to feel and look healthier…

I feel exactly the same 😢 I've gone from a size 8 pre-pregnancy to a size 12. And I know that's not massive but I feel rubbish because I have no clothes that fit other than big jumpers, hoodies and leggings. I meal prep but like you I'm constantly snacking on biscuits especially at night to keep myself awake. I've got in the habit of eating half a family bar of chocolate every night as a treat and I just generally feel really unhealthy and gross. If anyone has any recommendations for YouTube workouts to ease back into exercise that would be great. It's just so hard when you're so knackered isn't it 😭

@Kim literally me!! My chocolate consumption is a joke and then I just feel horrible 😩😭 if I come across anything helpful I’ll send your way x

@Ell glad it's not just me. I'm sure we will get the motivation back eventually 😫😅 Aw thank you, same here xx

Omg this is me right now too! I’ve always been a gym bunny and managed to get into such good shape … then I had my son 🤣 to be honest … we are all in survival mode right now. So if biscuits and gu cheesecakes (you must try one btw) are giving me comfort and energy, then I’m ok with that! Soon the babies will be bigger and we will have more time to focus on getting our bodies back. Focus on the bubba and eating for pleasure right now! This will all pass and you will get back to where you want to be xx

You wouldn’t even believe how many chocolate tubs we’ve got through in the last few weeks! Damn the shops for getting Xmas stuff in so early 🥵 I lost my baby weight quickly first time and this time round through walking. I try walk a couple of hours a day (and running round after a toddler). I’m hoping to start running again soon but my pelvic floor definitely can’t take the pressure just yet!

@Amanda get me every flavour of Gu puddings immediately! I love them 🙈😂

Definitely gunna start walking (weather permitting) where possible!

Ugh I feel this. Some days I feel so low about my post partum body (I’m about 10kg heavier than my usual) it makes me want to cry, then the next day I’ve pushed it to the back of my mind, eaten a whole pack of Maryland cookies and cracked open a tub of Ben and Jerry’s.

heavvyyy on the Busicuitsss!!! I tried cutting them out this week but then my husband went and bought two packs of my faves yestrrday 😩😩 after I told him no more for me. No one else in my house eats them! So they are calling to me 🤣 Put on the most weight this pregnancy in comparison to my older two! Need to lose 15kg!

Well this is all very reassuring girls 😂 nice to know I’m not alone. Planning a long walk tomorrow and till then going to finish off the Oreo’s I’ve opened as I don’t like waste x

I feel the exact same I went through 2 pack of biscuits today and a pack of haribo and that’s not even a bad day 🙈! I’ve currently set myself a target of getting out for a walk for at least half hour with the buggy, then next week it will be the walk and cut down on some sugar and I’m just taking it week by week! I have no idea how I’m going to get back to the gym with a toddler and newborn but I’ve started squatting round the house and dancing with my little boy when we put dancing fruit on I’m hoping all this helps! Xx

Honestly if it weren’t for my partner I probably wouldn’t be eating at all!! I have NO IDEA how I survived as a single mum at 18 with my first born. You could try one of those businesses that pre-make your food that could be more convenient for you :) goodluck xx

i feel the same.. i was a size 8-10 pre babies and now i’m a 12-14. i have a wobbly belly and purple stretch marks everywhere. i just want to feel confident again 😢

Same here! I was a gym freak before getting pregnant and having my little one! Trying to find time to eat in the day is so hard! If it wasn’t for my partner I prob wouldn’t eat some days as I’m just busy looking after little one or cleaning house etc 🫠. I’d like to have the little one with pre pregnancy body haha xx

This is also me.. I was an 8 pre pregnancy and now I don’t even know what size I am apart from my leggings are a Large because of my belly 😟.. I’ve gone the other way and not eating really until my main meal at night.. I have lost a fair bit this way (not that this way is the most safest or healthiest way by all means) but I’m just not hungry most of the time.. my problem now is I need to tone the belly back to shape but because I had a c section I can’t do any physical exercise other than walking at the moment.. it’s all very draining and I completely understand your feelings.. this part of having a child no one ever talks about sadly x
