I worked away at 3wks pp.. no issues!
I was fine at 5.5 weeks x
We did it at the 3 week, its was fine for us, but we haven’t been going at it like we use to, been taking it slow at the moment, hope this helps
I did it at 2 weeks pp, my midwife told me that the 6 weeks is only advisory, it’s down to when you feel ready and able x
@Kelsey-elaine bloody hell haha at 2 weeks I didn’t even know what my name was 🤣
@Agnes I was up and walking 6 hours after my section because I was desperate for the catheter out😂xx
@Agnes I was asleep for my section so my recovery wasn’t as bad x
@Kelsey-elaine that’s impressive!! I didn’t want and mine out 🤣 I asked them to keep it in for longer lmfao she said they wanted me up and walking so needed to remove it I was devastated
@Kelsey-elaine how different was recovery going under general anesthesia?x
So I wasn’t numbed from the waist down, my mum was awake for hers and her back is awful now, I don’t have that issue. I didn’t get a choice in being asleep as it was really urgent baby was out. Only thing I’ll say that’s worse having put to sleep, is missing out on your babies first cry or having to wait however long until you wake up to hold them x
If you feel ok go for it!
Only you know when it's okay to go for it. I couldn't even 3 months after I had a very traumatic birth under general so that was the furthest thing from my mind. But girl if your not in pain and can go for it go for it.
I was 5 weeks pp yesterday and me and my husband had sex yesterday and everything was fine 😊
Just over 3 weeks we waited, just took it slow

Just because you are nearing or at 6 weeks doesn't mean everything's good. I'd wait to get cleared by a doctor
Get it girl! As long as you feel ok and not uncomfortable or in pain
We started a few days early, it was a definitely still sore tho but I also dilated and started pushing before going in for an emergency so it may be different for you! We still made it through tho, we were both READY lmaoo
@Kelsey-elaine awh I was the same as you, my daughter was born at 13:10 and I didn’t see her till 15:40 it’s brutal.
Me personally I waited until I got the all clear as your at risk for infection and I didn’t want to take the risk so waiting the extra two weeks wasn’t a big issue
