Oh no, sorry you’re in the same position! The clock change didnt help, we’re really struggling! He does go back to sleep, but the 5am wake is so tough for me because then I’m up for the day. He has no set wake time - it’s whatever time something wakes him, either his sister or dad getting up for work. So between 6.20 and 7. He has a nap around 1am - but wakes after an hour and needs resettling again. And then bed time is 7-7.30 but he doesn’t sleep until 8. I think he’s chronically overtired. I think the nap is too late and should be earlier? Ahh I’ve no clue what to do 😩
We're the same. 7pm bedtime, sleeps until 5:30 and won't go back down. She's in a foul mood until she naps. Naps for 1.5-3hrs. I think we need to limit naps to 1 hour, but the thought of dealing with another 6 hours until bedtime, of the grumpy little demon, is nauseating. 😟 She's been awful recently.
Eurgh. That’s me.. let him sleep because I don’t want to hear the whining for a bit longer. I want him to go to bed earlier, so I want to limit the nap.. but then he will be even more overtired? Feel like it’s a never ending cycle and I’m also overtiredddd 🙃
I feel like they are going through the 18 month regression my LO sleep times are a bit messed up but the same happened with our 3 year old when she was 18 months. I just tried to keep the same routine and ride it through eventually they go back to sleeping well that worked for me
Wake up 7am Nap 1030-12 Bed 6pm I don’t have set timings I just follow his lead and this is what he tends to do every day, works for him!
Wake 7 ish nap 1230-2 bed 8 this is just roughly not exactly same each day
Wake 6.45/7 nap 11-1/1.15 and bed 7.15ish xx
Following! We are also having a similar issue which I think is because of the clock change (as would otherwise be 6am). Ours goes down around 7-7.30pm and up at 5am so only 10 hours sleep (sometimes less) which isn’t enough for him as he sleeps ages in the day at nursery to make up for it.
