I still spoon feed porridge at breakfast, he's not that good at scooping anything liquidy yet. I will help him stab harder foods with his little fork and then he feeds himself - but only when he feels like it
Things like yoghurt, cereal and super messy things, yes otherwise it would be everywhere. She doesn't have full control of a spoon yet. If I put stuff on the fork for her, she can feed herself that way.
My twins self feed everything apart from yoghurt. I tried that once and it ended in disaster 🤣 x
My son kind of scoops food with the spoon into his mouth, then he forgets about the spoon and goes face into the bowl 😂 I let him self feed most things it's a mess but he's happier that way
My son can only eat a biscuit on his own, but I didn't even try to teach him spoon feeding. Am I too late?
I let mine self feed everything. I load the spoon sometimes for some things as she's still trying to get the hang of it but mostly does it herself
I do spook feeding he does anything else, so cereal (that can't be picked up) I'll do as well as yogurts but everything else as messy as it is, he'll just dive in fist first
My little boy doesn’t like me feeding him anymore, his started to want his own independence with eating, so I’m starting to let him use a baby fork or spoon, I’ll obviously have one as well if his being too messy. But he enjoys feeding himself
We still spoon feed porridge for breakfast and I am trying as much as possible to give my LB foods he can feed himself as we haven’t mastered a spoon yet but if we do use a packet food then I will still spoon feed especially when we are out as it gets messy letting him eat himself
