@Elle (i can't see waves) thank you for replying! The issue for me is have been trying to continue private renting (I’ve never been in this situation before) but none of the agencies/landlords have been approving of the UC top up I receive. I work part time as I have a little one. She’s in nursery locally and I obviously work locally too + she’s got good contact with her dad who lives locally so the thought of them moving us far away is terrifying 🫠🫠🫠 Gosh staying in a terrace lodge for 6 months sounds awful! Did you get your home after that? X
I know ! I fully understand I'm the same was renting my previous home for 12yrs!!! I was also working but gave up due to being homeless etc etc.... welll crazy bit yes we found a place Xmas week , moved in Xmas eve! Still private rental we in Stanmore now it's just leaving what you know isn't fun and trying to make mum friends again is just effort . Also I couldn't bare to give birth and bring ny newborn to a hotel room all 4 of us in 1 room , it wasn't ideal 😩😩
I wasn't with barnet, but enfield feel free to msg , I had a section21 in 2022 and I was basically evicted un August 2023..... I was dashed into a travelodge its not ideal obviously you can't cook etc or keep a mini fridge 😩😩. With me when the date on section21 expire that's when landlord gos to court...... you get another date.... to be out .... if your not out by that date....then that's when it go's to the baliefs ..... they send you a date to be out and then you dont know wtf is going on ! So in theory you have a little bit of time.... I'm guessing you've had your 2 or 3 months ? I know its hard but search daily even if outside of barnet as when I was in hotel I was there 6monyhs , soo many familes got shipped to south of England etc etc Sorry to waffle on , once I start I can't shut up 🤣 X
