Could you have a little get together with family at home? Get a few balloons and decorations etc x Please don't feel bad!

We are the same, doing a family gey together at the weekend but her birthday is on a weekday so just us 3 are going to a water park for the first time then a cake smash x

We're going to the aquarium with her on her actual birthday, then we've hired a local afternoon tea place for a few hours at the weekend with family and friends. I bought our decorations from temu as they're super cheap and still really cute x

Similar to Hannah, I got all her decorations from Temu, we’re going to the Aquarium on her actual birthday and we’re having a party at a soft play the day before her birthday

We are the same, none of my friends have babies or children a similar age. We are decorating the house and doing presents / cake with family and then heading to sea life and build a bear to make the £1 birthday bear 😀

For our sons christening in September we hired a venue, soft play, paid for balloons etc and it was a lovely day but so much stress and money. For his birthday on Saturday we are just going to decorate the front room and then take him to the sea life centre with family and a meal after. Please don’t feel bad, they won’t remember the first birthday and as much as our christening party was lovely, we think he is going to enjoy the sea life centre so much more!

We booked a sensory room near us , you get the whole room for 45 minutes and then coming home for a cake smash :) no other babies, just family

I feel awful as me and my husband are both at work for my sons first birthday, I work in a school so no way of taking the day off & my husband is on training the same day which he has to do.. we are doing presents and stuff when we get home and then doing a birthday tea party on the Saturday with family and friends
